Mission and Description of the Clinic The
Scottish Rite Clinic located at 28 W. 2nd St. in Duluth, Minnesota,
provides assessment and treatment services at no cost to children up to
age nine who exhibit communication disorders. Children and families
have been seen from numerous communities in northeastern Minnesota and
northwestern Wisconsin. A variety of services are offered including:
hearing assessments, communication screenings and assessments,
consultation with parents and allied professionals, direct management
of language disorders, referral to the medical and educational
communities, and integrated outreach services.
We are a Unique Clinic The Scottish Rite Clinic provides unique services that are provided in no other facility in the region. The very effective on-going parent education component of our program is what makes us not only unique, but successful in treating a variety of language disorders. Scottish Rite Clinic provides collaboration of information with colleagues, physicians, personal care attendants, grandparents, and educators
